ABOUT US
Ringtread NZ Limited is a privately owned and operated New Zealand business. Our goal is to provide light and heavy truck and bus re-treads using premium tread rubber from Marangoni and Kontur in the USA and Italy, as well as NZ Treadz rubber from Malaysia. This gives us a greater ability to suit all types of re-tread needs across New Zealand.
We operate out of the ever-growing Mount Maunganui district in Tauranga and provide service across the North Island on a weekly basis. We have been operating and producing quality re-treads for the past 14 years, suppling independent tyre dealers looking for quality service and competitive pricing considering New Zealand road conditions.

CLAIMS POLICY
Ringtread NZ Ltd accepts claims caused by faulty workmanship and/or materials, but not for failures due to operator damage.
1. Claimable 2. Not claimable 3. Stock Casings 4. Vehicle Damage 5. Call Outs and Replacement Tyres
1: CLAIMABLE
Claims due to faulty workmanship and/or materials
100% of the dealer price is giver for the first 25% of tread wear (if possible
The tyre will be processed free of charge).
2: NOT CLAIMABLE
Failures due to operator or fitting damage i.e.
. Impact fractures . Damage caused by hitting objects
. overloading damage . Underinflation damage
. Puncturing . Improper rim fitment
. Mismatched duals
. Repairs in retread after retreading – leading to tyre failure
. Mechanical wear and damage problems
. Damage caused by an object becoming jammed between duals
. Damage caused by the tyre fitter etc
NOTE >> Foreign materials such as tyre sealants not officially approved by new tyre companies may negate the retread warranty.
3: STOCK CASINGS
Claimable retreads on a stock casing. The current value of the casing will be given on a percentage based on the tread remaining.
4: VEHICLE DAMAGE
Where damage has been caused by a claimable failure Ringtread NZ ltd accepts responsibility i.e. Guards, lights, mud flaps etc.
A written report and account for the repair work is required (for insurance purposes), along with the failed tyre.
5: CALLOUTS AND REPLACEMENT TYRES
Ringtread NZ ltd does not accept responsibility for call outs or the cost of replacement tyres (new or retread).
Claimed tyres will be credited as under item 1.
